Talk by Maureen Groden, RN - “When a Loved One is Dying”

Most of us are anxious about dealing with a dear friend or family member dying. Come hear an informative real-life discussion about serious illness and end-of-life care - important things to know.Maureen is the author of the book “When a Loved One is Dying – Conversations about Care, Connection and Coping”. She will share her experience as a hospice and palliative care nurse and educator.
Maureen is passionate about helping families navigate the health care system when their loved one has a serious illness. She wants to help families experience a peaceful end of life journey.
She will provide handouts, and copies of her book will be available for sale. This event is accessible and open to the public.
